RFC 2731 ("Encoding Dublin Core Metadata in HTML") is Obsolete

This document  I ↓recommends that RFC 2731, on Encoding Dublin Core Metadata in HTML, be reclassified as Historicobsoletes RFC 2731, on Encoding Dublin Core Metadata in HTML, as further development of this specification has moved to the Dublin Core Metadata Initiative.¶

This Internet-Draft is submitted to IETF in full conformance with the provisions of BCP 78 and BCP 79.¶

[RFC2731] defines "Encoding Dublin Core Metadata in HTML". Newer specifications published by the Dublin Core Metadata Initiative (DCMI) over the last decade, in particular "Expressing Dublin Core metadata using HTML/XHTML meta and link elements" (DC-HTML, <http://dublincore.org/documents/dc-html/>), have obsoleted this work.¶
